Indoor Environments
Warm, ordered and intentionally prepared spaces with natural textures, open-ended resources, soft lighting and thoughtful room layouts.

Our indoor and outdoor environments are calm, purposeful and intentionally prepared to support belonging, independence, creativity, movement and discovery.

Third teacher
We acknowledge the environment as an important part of children's learning, inviting children to participate in play, investigation, creativity, movement and real-life experiences.
Outdoors
Outdoor spaces encourage children to connect with nature, move their bodies and explore the world around them, with age-appropriate experiences at every centre.

How the rooms work
Four questions about how the rooms are set up, answered from what our educators plan for.

From the placement of resources to the flow of each room, spaces are considered through the lens of a child: comfort, safety, imagination, connection and possibility.

Outdoor environments support movement, connection to nature, social play and sensory discovery through age-appropriate experiences.
Gentle areas allow children to pause, read, reset, observe or spend time with an educator when they need support.

Staying connected
Through OWNA, families can stay connected with their child’s day at Brighter Beginnings. Educators share daily updates, important information and messages, helping you stay informed while your child is in our care.
You’ll also find centre information and seasonal menus in one convenient place, so you know what’s happening and what your child has been offered throughout the day. OWNA is also used to securely complete enrolment when your family is ready.
