ARKKI brings creative design thinking into our curriculum

A playful partnership supporting imagination, problem solving and collaboration.

Our partnership with ARKKI introduces design thinking in a way that feels playful, age-appropriate and deeply connected to children's natural curiosity.

Learning through creative problem solving

ARKKI experiences invite children to imagine, build, test, adjust and share their ideas. Rather than looking for one correct answer, children are encouraged to explore different possibilities and learn through the process.

This kind of learning supports communication, persistence, spatial thinking and collaboration. It also gives children room to see themselves as capable creators.

A natural fit for early learning

Design thinking sits comfortably inside play-based early education because it begins with questions. What could this become? How might this stand up? What happens if we try another material?

Educators guide the process with open-ended prompts, helping children notice, explain and extend their thinking without taking over the discovery.

Why it matters

Creative design experiences help children practise flexible thinking, collaboration and confidence in their own ideas.
