Preparing for the first day
Talk about educators, rooms, playtime, meals, rest and friends using simple, positive language.

The first day is a big milestone. Some children settle quickly, while others need time, reassurance and consistent routines.

Settling support
Some children love care straight away, while others need days or weeks to settle. Both responses are normal.
We work gently with families so each child feels safe, known and ready for their first day at Brighter Beginnings.

Staying connected

You’ll also find centre information and seasonal menus in one convenient place, so you know what’s happening and what your child has been offered throughout the day. OWNA is also used to securely complete enrolment when your family is ready.
